Winnings over ₹10,000 in a single contest face a 30% TDS under Section 194BA. The platform deducts before crediting. If your winnings span multiple contests, the per-contest threshold still applies — the ₹10K limit resets each contest.

Winners are ranked by total fantasy points (sum across 11 players × captain / vice-captain multipliers). In head-to-heads, the higher points wins. Ties are split using the tiebreak rules — usually captain points first, then vice-captain.
Are winnings taxable?
Yes. Winnings over ₹10,000 in a single contest face a 30% TDS under Section 194BA. The platform deducts the TDS at the source before crediting your wallet. You claim the TDS back in your ITR if your income is below the basic exemption.
How long until winnings are creditable?

The 5-step role-adjusted baseline

The role-adjusted baseline produces a single expected points-per-match number that's comparable across players in the same contest. Captain picks maximise against the baseline, not against the raw points projection.
